September Favorites 2016

I don’t usually try a lot of new products in a month, but in the month of September it’s felt like I’ve been trying something new every week. With trying new products I have found a few new favorites!

Hair:

Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Curl Nourish Shampoo– The older I get the more curls I seem to be getting, and I am getting to the point that instead of battling against them I am going to embrace them. Unless I straighten my hair that is. This shampoo is sulfate free so I still get the great lather that I want without drying out my hair! I pair this up with the Triple Nutrition Curl Nourish Conditioner.

Ultra Chi 1″ Hairstyling Iron- I have used plenty of flat irons since high school trying to find the perfect one, and I’ve always had my eye on Chi but the price tag has always been a little steep. So when I found a Chi flat iron at Ulta Beauty that was almost $100 off its original asking price I knew I couldn’t pass it up. Since then I have been OBSESSED with how straight and shiny it makes my hair!

Makeup:

Ulta Mineral Blush in Tiger Lily- I have talked about this blush so much this month so I won’t bore you with the details. Seriously though this blush is probably one of the best I’ve used. The color payoff is great and its so easy to blend.

Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker XXL Extreme Plump- I LOVE THIS LIP GLOSS!  I love the way it feels(it tingles) and it makes my lips look a little fuller, especially my upper lip. I put it on while I am doing my face makeup and by the time I am ready to add lip color the plumping has already taken place.

Ulta Setting Powder in Banana- This is another product that I’ve already raved about so I won’t go on and on about it. Let me just say I can see the hype around yellow or banana powders. My under-eye area looks brighter when i use it on top of my concealer.

Entertainment:

TV Show: This is Us- This show just started and I’ve only seen the first episode but based on what I saw it looks like its going to be very good!

Song: Closer by The Chainsmokers- I can’t get enough of this song. When it comes on in the car I can’t help but turn it on and do my best to sing along to it!
